Intel to cut jobs

Over the next year Intel makes plans to lay of over a thousand employees with the likely departure of around 1,000 managers, with up to 10,500 employees in total.

This should save Intel around $2billion annually which is designed due to the smaller market share that Intel now has in the chip market.
